Hansen's signature persona and vocal inflection drip with such intense smarm that you almost feel bad for the kiddy-diddlers. Many times, the ensnared pedos are instructed by the fake child baiters to strip off all their clothes before meeting them face to face. That's when Chris enters the room. He reads their chat logs with incredible smugness before pretending to let his victims go so they can get rushed and tackled by a half dozen cops for the Dateline cameras. Suicide LawsuitAs of March 2, 2008, a federal judge has ruled that the sister of a man who committed suicide after being filmed on To Catch As A Predator may sue the network for $100,000,000. Louis Conradt, a 56-year-old assistant district attorney, shot himself in November 2006 after he was confronted at his Terrell, Texas, home by police officers, accompanied by an NBC news crew that was there to film his arrest. In the ruling, the judge said, "A reasonable jury could find that NBC crossed the line from responsible journalism to irresponsible and reckless intrusion into law enforcement."
