Because people are so accustomed to spamming and flaming these threads, you can easily attract all kinds of attention with minimal effort. Just post the first frame of an obvious combo in a new thread and watch the sages swarm. Types of Combos Combos come in several types. From a series of related pictures, to text from a single user, to several users attempting to create their own combo. Pictures(Series)Users will often separate a single picture in to pieces, and then post them in succession to formulate the entire original picture. These are usually unsuccessful as users will combo break with something like "c-c-c-c combo breaker" which creates many lulz. These combos include longcat, which is broken in to many pieces to show is glorious longness, and things like slowpoke(see above image), which are made by the op, since the offset original post is required to give any semblance of the original. These types of combos are useful for spamming thread, and creating lulzy(at least in the op's head) combo threads. Text Combos Text combo threads are often used to tease users in to trying to "count" to certain numbers. For example, the OP will say that if anonymous can count to 5, they will post some sort of desired content. Theoretically, the first post is a "1", the second a "2", and so on. These, like most attempted combos, are generally failures. Again, they often include someone posting an absurd number that isn't anywhere close to 1-5. Even if the combo is achieved, the OP still doesn't deliver.
