DO NOT WANT is another phrase coined by the lovable scoundrels at 4chan's /b/ board. It originated from horrible english subtitles of the Chinese version of Star Wars Episode III into Engrish, where instead of Darth Vader saying, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" near the final minutes of the film, the subtitles say, "Do not want."

While the original clip spawned a YTMND meme, the "Do not want" line was found infinitely more lulzy and has thus spread throughout the internet as one of the most widely used memes.

Variants

DO WANT, DON'T KNOW IF WANT, and SORTA WANT/KINDA WANT macros can show interest, ambivalence and/or horror at anything from nudes to Rosie O'Donnell nudes.
