Islam is the religion articulated by the Qur’an, the verbatim word of the single incomparable God (Allāh) [1]. It is also articulated by the Islamic prophet Muhammad's demonstrations and real-life examples (called the Sunnah, collected through narration of his companions in collections of Hadith). The word Islam is a homograph, having multiple meanings, and a triliteral of the word salaam, which directly translates as peace. Other meanings include submission, or the total surrender of oneself to God. When the two root words are put together, the word 'Islam' gives the meaning 'Peace acquired by submission to the will of God'.

Do Holy Martyrs get 72 virgins in Paradise?

Not an image of the Prophet. The Qur'an does not explicitly forbid images of Muhammad, but there are a few hadith (supplemental traditions) which have explicitly prohibited Muslims from creating the visual depictions of figures under any circumstances.

"We have created mates for them and made them virgins, matched in age, for the companions of the right hand." (Quran 56:35-38) [2]. So the answer is yes. However homosexuals will not enter Paradise - "Kill the one that is doing it and also kill the one that it is being done to."[3]

The Scientific Miracles of the Holy Quran

The Quran on Human Embryonic Development

“We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)…” (Quran 23:12-14)

The Quran on the Cerebrum

“No! If he does not stop, We will take him by the naseyah (front of the head), a lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)!” (Quran 96:15-16)

The Earth’s Atmosphere

“[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling…” (Quran 2:22)

The Quran on Clouds

“....And He sends down hail from mountains (clouds) in the sky, and He strikes with it whomever He wills, and turns it from whomever He wills. The vivid flash of its lightning nearly blinds the sight.” (Quran 24:43)

The Victory of the Romans and the Lowest Point on Earth

“The Romans have been defeated in the lowest land, but after their defeat they will soon be victorious. Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after, is with God.” (Quran 30:2-4)

Famous Legal Rulings

Sheik Sadeq Abdallah bin Al-Majed, leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Sudan, issued a fatwa that prohibits vaccination of children claiming it is a conspiracy of the Jews and Freemasons.

Osama bin Laden issued two fatwas — in 1996 and then again in 1998 — that Muslims should kill civilians and military personnel from the United States and allied countries until they withdraw support for Israel and withdraw military forces from Islamic countries.

In 2008, a Pakistani religious leader issued a fatwa on President Asif Ali Zardari for "indecent gestures" toward Sarah Palin, U.S. Vice Presidential candidate.

Another example of a fatwa is forbidding the smoking of cigarettes in Islam.

The Organization of the Islamic Conference has denounced calls for the death of Danish cartoonists[4].

Suicide bombing in any form have also been declared haram and forbidden by Indian ulema. This stand is also supported by Saudi scholars such as Shaykh Muhammad Bin Saalih al-'Uthaymeen who have issued fatwa saying Suicide bombings are haram and those who commit this act are not shaheed (martyrs).
