   /v/ is a 4chan imageboard revolving around the discussion of video games, and video game related topics. The board is a hotspot for trolls and oldfags alike, calling themselves /v/irgins. It is 4chan's second most populated board next to /b/, and followed by /a/. It is a long-running (yet somewhat truthful) inside joke that the majority of threads are anime related, pokemon related, or a troll thread. Due to most users' long history of 4chan usage, cynicism amongst them is at a high among most of the boards. Despite all of this, they continue to produce good, non-forced(usually), memes at a rate higher than /b/ itself. Thread TopicsMost threads are about the same topics, repeated ad-nauseum. Some of the most popular themes include anime, weeaboo games, WoW, Pokemon, or console war trolling. The latter of which usually entails explaining why one console is better than another to coax reactions out of fans of another console. The whole thing is a pointless back and forth amongst trolls that ends in butthurt and flame wars. Another common occurrence is to see a quality thread made and for every "/v/irgin to think it is some troll attempt and flame the OP. Reaction images accompanied by the use of greentext is one of the many cancers that inhabits this board. Overall, the quality of posts is high(at least by 4chan standards) and remains one the almost half decent and bearable portions of moot's little abomination of a website. BrofistAnother recently arisen, yet peculiar phenomenon is the brofist. Despite the cynicism amongst users, their common hobby has given way to an overall sense of camaraderie. /v/irgins will frequently play games online with one another, often forming guilds and clans. A thread of mutual love is often seen where users will spam their brofist art and tell everyone how much they love them. This is usually followed by another thread where the OP explains that his Xbox is better because "lol PS3 SUX olololol trolled" or something similar. ...........
