You Mad is a meme used from SOHH, an online hip-hop community, during the raids around early 2008. Said to have originated after the semi-famous rapper Camron appeared on the Bill O'Reily show in 2003 and re-popularized after a video of a rap-battler belittling his competition. The altercation, which is shown HERE (slightly NSFW due to F-bombs), resulted in the trollee assaulting the troller after he stated, "You just mad cuz I'm stylin' on you".

Ever since then, it's also been used in other situations and heated debate where it would seem to indicate someone is taking words on the internet seriously. Many times, it's been found to be misused, but on the rare occasion of being done right, can become the most effective means of NO U in the known internets.
